Sweet honesty and Bubbling Brooks

Oh! Where does the time go?
Another week, another month, gone.
Busy with the day to day things …
… that eat up our time.
But also getting acquainted …
… with what Cornwall has to offer.

Colourful gardens …
… a visit to the tin mines …

… at night.
A torch lit walk across the cliffs …
… was magical.

A tour of St Michael's Mount …
… all to blog.

No matter how much we have to fit in our day though ...
... we need, at times, to slow down ...
… take stock …

… make time to smell the flowers.

Have been doing that too.

Long walks down narrow lanes …
… where the only sounds are birdsong …

… the buzzing of bees …
… and the sound of bubbling brooks ...

… that crisscross the moors here.

The hedgerows are rich …

… with a plethora of wild flowers.

Foxgloves, stitch wort, red campion …

… sedums, bluebells, sweet honesty , frothy cow parsley …

… and delicate ferns and grasses.

Spectacular.

Next post …
… a secret dell uncovered …
… and the Cornish delights.
